Pneumatic Dispatch Tube Systems

Pneumatic Dispatch Tube Systems are used by stores and offices to send sales slips, money, receipts, etc. to and from various sales departments and cashiers. They are also used in steel mills to convey samples for QC laboratory testing.

Fabreeka® pad material (usually 3 ply or 5 ply thick) is used on the message-carrier-cartridge unit as an accelerator disc or seal, 2-1/4" to 4" in diameter. The Fabreeka® discs are slightly larger in diameter than the carrier unit and somewhat smaller than the inside diameter of the conveyor tube. The discs fit tightly enough in the propulsive unit to allow the proper amount of air pressure or vacuum to form, and they successfully withstand the continuous flexing and abrasion encountered at the high speed operation. Fabreeka® 1/2" to 5/8" thick buffers are fastened to the front and/or back of the carrier cartridge to cushion the impact as the cartridge is brought to an abrupt stop.
