Another innovative application of Fabreeka® pad material is to control top of exhaust stack motion (associated with vortex shedding at critical wind speeds) by its damping contribution to the stack system. Without Fabreeka® pads in place, the top-of-stack motion could get excessive enough to cause permanent damage or even failure of the stack.
