Pumps

Pumps are used to move fluids (liquids or gases). Generally, they are either rotary (centrifugal) or reciprocating in their operation.

Fabcel® pads are the choice on centrifugal pumps, while Fabreeka® pads, the stiffer material, are the choice for the low RPM reciprocating pumps to reduce the gear, bearing, motor impulses and hydrodynamic forces. If the shaft RPM is the major disturbing frequency, then a very soft isolator must be used along with a heavy base (concrete or steel) to limit dynamic motion.

Fabreeka® has successfully isolated a variety of pumps, i.e. oil pumps, petroleum industry pumps, mud pumps, liquid pumps, etc.
