Printing Presses Fabreeka® material has been very successfully used to isolate shock and high frequency vibration to and from printing presses. The key to its success is its ability to reduce the shock and vibration while maintaining press alignment and tram. Fabreeka's® inherent stiffness, damping and high strength account for its success.

Fabreeka® is the ideal isolator for printing press installations because it offers the perfect compromise between the ideal and the practical. Ideally, a soft isolator will generally give the greatest degree of isolation. However, this cannot always be tolerated by the isolated equipment because there is too much motion. A stiffer, more practical isolator is needed.

• Fabreeka® pads, washers and bushings have been successfully used directly beneath each press foot.
• Fabreeka® pads, by themselves, have been successfully used beneath column bases on larger printing presses.
• Fabreeka® padding in strip form has been successfully used on the base and vertical sides of large printing press foundations located in a concrete pit.
