Piping

There are a variety of Fabreeka® piping applications to help prevent conditions such as: non-uniform clamp pressure, pipe or connection rupture, stud bolt breakage, corrosion, fretting, galvanic action, vibration and structure-borne noise transmission, pipe expansion and contraction.

Fabreeka® Pipe Slides and Expansion Slide Elements allow freedom of movement due to expansion and contraction from thermal or dynamic changes. The Fabreeka® pad portion of the bearing helps to distribute loadings and reduce localized stress concentrations.

Fabreeka® Piping and Bottle Restraints are used in petro-chemical plants and process piping industries for gas transmission and product pipelines to reduce piping fatigue failures caused by vibration and to compensate for non-uniform clamp contact pressure.

Fabreeka® pad material has also been used on pipe hangers to reduce noise and vibration and in some cases an entire pipe has been wrapped in Fabreeka® pad material to control pipe resonance due to turbulent flow.
