Since 1935, Fabreeka® has established itself as a leader in the shock and vibration field servicing the defense, aerospace and industrial groups throughout the world. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Fabreeka® International has additional offices in the United States, Canada, England, Holland and Germany.

Fabreeka® provides low frequency vibration isolation systems for critical applications in the aerospace/defense industry, which require ultra-low frequency isolation. Applications often include nano-type measurements, seismic isolation requirements (earthquakes) and can have error budgets within microns.

Fabreeka® routinely conducts vibration site survey/analysis services to determine the amplitudes of vibration and the frequencies at which they occur. This data is recorded, analyzed and then compared directly to the allowable vibration limits. This comparison of data enables the isolation system designer to make the correct isolator selection. Additionally, Fabreeka® offers design services including FEM (modal analysis, NASTRAN and stress analysis, including dynamic and static modeling for the isolation systems and their support structures.

Our capabilities include complete isolation solutions for vacuum chamber (internal and external to the chamber) and other critical applications, which include but are not limited to: design, analysis, fabrication, acceptance testing and installation. Additionally, Fabreeka® provides consulting services for large program efforts including diagnostics, specifications, test procedures, system design and construction management.

The type of isolation system chosen is based on its isolation characteristics as compared to the measured floor vibration. The most commonly used isolators for these applications include pneumatic isolators and special systems, including vacuum compatible isolators, due to their low frequency isolation characteristics.

Fabreeka® has designed a number of "soft support systems" (SSS) using standard and custom pneumatic isolators. These SSS are used for ground vibration testing (GVT) on aircraft. The pneumatic isolators support and decouple the aircraft from the ground when the aircraft is undergoing dynamic testing and modal/flutter analysis. The SSS can be portable and can also include a jacking system to lift the aircraft off of its landing gear (tires). The SSS is designed to have a natural frequency of at least 1/2 the aircraft's first elastic mode.

Foundations or inertia masses are sometimes required in conjunction with the isolation system. Inertia masses or foundations are also recommended on some applications to lower the machine/mass center of gravity, which minimizes "rocking" on the isolation system and increases system stability. Fabreeka® can provide structural analysis services if required for your project.
